Users aren’t seeing the optimal value for their trade in the current experience since it’s owned by a third party. The trade value could make a big difference for the customer in their buying journey.

If we were to create a DriveTime led vehicle appraisal process on the site, then we could also control the value that the customers are provided.

Also, by stepping away from using Kelly Blue Book we’ll have more control over the whole customer journey during trade.
